Welcome to First Steps Kindergarten.

Established in 1992, we are a family run business, dedicated to developing and nurturing children, capitalising on their learning ability.

It is said that the child learns more in the first four, or preschool, years than at any other period of life. So with this in mind we set out to care for,  stimulate and encourage the children in our care.

The atmosphere of our kindergarten is friendly and purposeful. We believe your child will grow through thoughtful nurture, with staff that are caring and professional.

Your child will be treated as an individual with individual needs and interests which we will support throughout their most formative years.

We endeavour to help your child to fully develop their potential abilities through well-organised play, built upon a sound foundation of basic knowledge, concepts and skills.

Nursery opening hours and holidays:

The kindergarten opens at 07:30 and closes at 18:00. Full time children can attend during these hours.

Our normal session times are:

Morning - 08:00 - 12:15
Afternoon - 13:15 - 17:30

The kindergarten is open throughout the year except for statutory holidays and approximately 7 days at Christmas, depending on which day Christmas day falls. Exact dates of holidays are published in a calendar each year.
